Babajide Sanwoolu Governor Babajide Sanwoolu has been announced as the winner of the Lagos State Governorship election. He defeated his closest rivals Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party, Abdulazeez Olajide Adeniran of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), among others.
Governor Babajide Sanwoolu is a candidate of the ruling party in the state, All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor Sanwoolu scored 762,134 votes to defeat Gbadebo Rhodes--Vivour who polled 312,329 to come distance second and Jide Adeniran who polled 62,449 votes to come very distance third.
