The former member of the House of Representatives and ex-Chief of Staff to former Governor Adams Oshiomole of Edo State, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, has applauded the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, for jumping into the fight between two Nigerian music legends, Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye.
Peter Okoye (Mr. P) and Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) are biological twins who jointly formed a music brand PSquare under Northside Entertainment company. They have released many hits including Last Nite, Busy Body, Do Me, No One Like You, I Love You, Chop My Money, Alingo, Personally, Shekini, Collabo (feat. Don Jazzy), Bank Alert, and Nobody Ugly.
The duo of the supposed lord of R&B in Nigeria, PSquare comprising of identical twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye parted their ways in 2017 after an irreconcilable battle over accusations of fraudulent management of the company's (Northside Entertainment) earnings.

The crisis between Peter and Paul Okoye regained interest, recently, after Paul (Rudeboy) granted a series of interviews where he accused his biological twin and former ally, Peter (Mr. P) of incompetence and lack of intellectual intelligence to compose songs.
Peter, in his reply, debunked all the claims by his twin brother, Paul, revealing his side of the story where he accused their bother, Jude Okoye, of conniving with some individuals to divert money worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, and hundreds of millions of naira from their company, Northside Entertainment, without his consent.
Mr. Peter Obi met with the two identical twins at a location with intent believed to be a move to settle the rift between the two brothers.

Commenting on Mr. Peter Obi's action, Hon. Obahiagbon said “My plauditory accolades go to Mr. Peter Obi for interceding in the fraternal imbroglio between music duo, Paul Okoye and Peter Okoye.
“To extricate time from a cacophony of pressing affairs for such trifling matters is the quintessence of sagacious leadership and salubrious perspicacity," Hon. Obahiagbon stated.
