The authority of the Nigeria Police Force has summoned the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero. Ajaero was summoned for a terrorism-related case.
According to a letter addressed to the NPC President, today August 19th, 2024, and signed by ACP Adamu Muazu of the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) Department of Force Intelligence (DFI), Guzape District, FCT, Abuja linked Ajaero to a case having to do with Criminal Conspiracy, Terrorism Financing, Treasonable Felony, Subversion, and Cybercrime.
Part of the letter addressed to Ajaero read This office is investigating a case of Criminal Conspiracy, Terrorism Financing, Treasonable Felony, Subversion, and Cybercrime in which you were mentioned.

Ajaero is expected tomorrow at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), Abuja.
The letter stated further "You are therefore invited to [be] interview(ed) the undersigned on Tuesday 20th Aug 2024 by 10:00 hrs prompt, at IRT Complex, Old Abattoir by Guzape Junction, Abuja, in connection with the above investigation.
The police authority, however, stated that it will declare the NLC President, Ajaero, wanted if he fails to present himself for interrogation, tomorrow.
