My Husband Drops 7k Daily for Family of Four Under this Hardship, Woman Laments The economic hardships facing Nigerians have affected residents in many ways, among which is the hike in the spending rate whereas income is either statics or even diminished. This has affected many homes including that of an Akwa Ibom woman who lamented that her husband has not been living up to expectations under the new economy regime.
An Akwa Ibom woman sent people worrying when she complained her husband has not been living up to expectations as she accused her husband of giving her N7,000 only daily to cater for a family of four. The woman complained her husband has not been adding any to the N7,000 despite the hike in the prices of food items and other essential commodities in the market.
She seems to have been exhausted of choosing what to buy, and not; as the prices of food items remain soaring in the market.
The Round Table understands that the price of food items and essential commodities have kept increasing in the market, recently, the remarks gathered from fellow citizens regarding this woman's lamentation showed she is not considerate of her husband.
Reacting to this development, Effing insisted the woman is ungrateful, and projected the woman is possibly, a full housewife.
He said: "You're being ungrateful, add 3k to the 7k and it's enough for a day meal.
"That's why I will NEVER marry a lady that sits home only to collect from the husband.
"Exception of being r0m@ntic and on rare occasions why should a man be taking care of your panties?
Godswill also felt unsatisfied with the woman's lamentation as he disagreed men should be the only ones contributing to family upkeep in a marriage.
He said, "How much do you add to the everyday expenses I don’t understand; marriage is a collaborative relationship, you can’t be expecting only him to be funding. So, try and get yourself something profitable that will yield income so you can support him. If he brings 7k you too bring 3k to add up because the family belongs to you both, if anything happens to any of your children the pain you will feel is the same pain he will feel just get that at the back of your mind. Jonah was just too furious about the development and he couldn't hide it. He said "You are not worth to be called a married woman, you can't be contented with what you have. 7k with this present economy and you are complaining, you better go back to your father's house because you don't know what marriage means.
