The heavyweight boxing between two-time world champion, Anthony Joshua and the mixed martial arts star, Francis Ngannou, ended an amazing moment in the history of boxing as the loser woke to see the end of the match in confusion.
Ngannou was boxed out of the competition in the second round of the much-anticipated fight. However, he raised a disturbing opinion about the competition.
The Nigerian two-time world champion, Anthony Joshua, knocked out the Cameroonian mixed martial arts star, Francis Ngannou, in just the second round of their heavyweight clash in the early hours of Saturday.
Joshua had his Cameroonian opponent on the canvas in the first round and twice more in the second in a brutal and brief exhibition of punching power.
However, Ngannou raised suspicion about the fight as he claimed he couldn't feel the pain of Joshua's Punch but just found himself sleeping after receiving the heavyweight punch. Ngannou even claimed that "Joshua's Punch was poorly delivered on him," the last moment he said he could remember during the fight.
Ngannou said he was about to stand up and continue the fight when he discovered that Joshua had been celebrating his victory.
Ngannou wasn't aware of how long he had been sleeping on the floor after the brutal punch from Joshua landed on him, forcing him to sleep off, immediately.
Ngannou said, "I didn't feel that knockout PUNCH. All I remember is that I was tussling with Anthony Joshua and then I woke up minutes later to see him celebrating. I didn't even feel any pain."
However, the devastating right-hand two-time world champion, Joshua while replying to Ngannou said "Talk is cheap."
The online community has been ranting considering the true nature of Joshua's Punch as some people considered it could be superstitious, many insisted Ngannou was too unqualified to face Joshua in a boxing ring.
