The People's Democratic Party in Rivers State, Ward 9 Chapter of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area has expelled Hon. Achor Prince, the leader of Obio/Akpor 9th Legislative Council who resigned as the Leader of the House and also as a Councilor of Ward 9, Nyesom Wike's ward.
According to the press statement from the Chairman of the ward, Hon. Collins Wobo Chukwu, obtainable by the Round Table, the concerned Councillor Prince Achor was expelled from the party after he failed several times to appear before the disciplinary committee over an allegation of misconduct and misappropriation of funds.
Recall that Hon. Anchor, while tendering his resignation letter from the Obio/Akpor Legislative Council, insisted that he has joined the right camp describing the Rivers PDP faction of Governor Siminalayi Fubara as the only one who meant well for the state.
He said the camp of Governor Fubara is the only faction of PDP that is working for the development of Rivers State, although he acknowledged the support of the former Governor of the state and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, who he claimed was the one who allowed him to be the councilor from the ward.
