Moving Train Smashed Man Too Death In Lagos A yet-to-be-identified man was on Monday killed after he was struck by a moving train around the Ikeja area of Lagos State.

Reports indicate that the tragic incident occurred in the early hours of the day.
Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, validated the incident as he revealed that the agency received a distress convene at 8:28 a.m. on Monday.
Dr Oke-Osanyintolu in a statement on Tuesday, remarked that LASEMA, in response to the distress calls, activated its Eagle Response Team from Cappa Base.
“On arrival of the Eagle Response Team at the incident scene by 0902hrs, LRT exposed the body of an adult male lying dead on the railway track.
“Further investigations by the Eagle Response Team held that the adult male was claim hit by a moving train in the early hours of the day,” he averred.
Oke-Osanyintolu joined that the agency’s response team evacuated the body, bagged it, and handed it over to the State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit (SEHMU) for transport to the morgue.
The Round Table reveals that the latest incident comes less than two weeks after a 50-year-old man, identified as Emmanuel, was tragically killed by a moving train near the Arena Shopping Mall in the Oshodi area of the state.
