Nigerian Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala, has called out social media influencers, Tunde Ednut and Very Dark, for initiating the Cyberattack on the Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi.
Iwobi has come under heavy criticism over his alleged poor performance at the just concluded Cote d'Ivoire 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
Nigeria Super Eagles finished runner-up after a 2-1 defeat to the host nation, Ivory Coast.
Although Iwobi has been under heavy media attack since the competition kicked off, Tunde Ednut and Very Dark Man were caught in action after celebrating Iwobi's substitution in the final match.
Condemning Tunde Ednut for the alleged single-out attack on Iwobi, Oshoala, in some of her recent posts on social media platforms called out Very Dark Man asking him “What do you do for a living?” following his Cyberattack on Iwobi.
She did not stop at Very Dark Man alone, she also hit the nail on the head dragging Tunde Ednut to stop the bully.
She said, in response to Tunde, “Boys give him money to do giveaway, he dey form god. who do you think you are?
"We accept constructive criticism, but he is a bully. He go use giveaway cover up again as usual. Mtcheww”
Asisat Oshoala was recently a victim of a cyberattack and her experience during a trying time might have influenced her reactions towards Tunde Ednut and Very Dark Man's bully on Iwobi.
Recall that Oshoala took off her shirt to celebrate her 72nd-minute winning goal for the Super Falcons when Nigeria Super Falcons played against the co-host of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, Sam Kerr of Australia at the Brisbane Stadium, Australia.
The recent Cyberattack on Iwobi has linked the player to be among Super Eagles young players who are currently considering retirement from the National team.
Also, Iwobi has reportedly deleted all his Instagram pictures to relieve himself of the negative remarks Nigerians have posted under his posts.
