Nyesom Wike, Fubara’s predecessor and minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), was likewise at the conjunctive.
Breaking fast with governors, ministers, security chiefs and other senior government officials is portion of the annual rituals of the president.
Governors, containing AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, Alex Otti of Abia, Nasir Idris of Kebbi, Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom, Hyacinth Alia of Benue, Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, and Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe were at the State House for the iftar.

Senior government officials at the contingency contain Femi Gbajabiamila, chief of staff (CoS) to the president, ministers, and service chiefs amidst others.
This is one of the rarest time Wike and Fubara will be sitting under the same roof since their last peace meeting at the State House summoned by President Tinubu couples of months ago.
The political hostility between Wike and Fubara had thrown Rivers State into a "politically sensitive state" with stakeholders watching with confusion on what could be the end of the rivalry.
