Ejikeme Mmesoma There have been diversified reactions and commentaries since the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, declares Ejikeme Mmesoma, a student who paraded herself as the top scorer in the 2023 UTME by manually inflating her result from 249 to 362 a fraud, and decision 0f the board to prosecute and have her result withdrawn.
Following her suspicious manipulated JAMB result, Mmesoma had earlier gotten an N3 million scholarship from Innoson Motors, while awaiting confirmation of a scholarship proposal from the Anambra State government.

Since the unveiling of the news, many have been said and heard but no tangible source has established the motives with which Mmesoma was caught in the act of manipulating her real JAMB result.
Although JAMB has not released an official statement to establish the mode with which Mmesoma was caught in the act of manipulating her result some points could be relevant to the course.
First, it is important to note that the design of the result being claimed by Mmesoma where she score 362 of the 400 scores was quite different from the design used by the board to present this year's results to their candidates.
Besides, if the barcode on the result that is being claimed by Mmesoma is scanned, it does not reflect the name of Mmesoma and it does not reflect an exam written in 2023.

Two things are possible, in the case of Mmesoma's allegedly manipulated results.
These could be one, either the JAMB server was hacked by sponsored or black-hearted hackers or Mmesoma applied the use of image editing software to edit her result to suit the new JAMB score. But for the fact that there is variation in the designs of the past results and this year's results which also validate an instance that Mmesoma manipulated her result, it could be more correct to fault Mmesoma for allegedly manipulating her result to deceive the general public and defraud them.
