A-List of dignitaries within the Nigerian society including the FCT Minister, National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Sir Tony C. Okocha among others honored Chief Hon Victor Tombari Giadom, the South-South National Vice-Chairman of the APC as he marked his 60th birthday.
Speaking at the thanksgiving service which took place at the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Nzimiro, Port Harcourt, Chief Victor Tombari Giadom thanked God for His numerous blessings upon his life, the gift of a lovely family, a successful political career, and an array of dependable friends from all walks of life for which he will be eternally grateful to God.
His Excellency, Hon. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the APC, who was the Special Guest of Honor also spoke about the celebrant at the thanksgiving service.
The National Chairman of the APC described Chief Victor Tombari Giadom as a man of great character and a grassroots mobilizer from the South-South Geopolitical Zone in Nigeria.
He assured him that the APC as a political party is proud of all his contributions to the growth of the party.
He congratulated him for attaining the age of 60 years and used the opportunity to extend the goodwill message of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
"The Journey to the 6th Floor", as the birthday celebration is tagged, was chaired by the Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Governor Bassey Edet Otu.
All the dignitaries who spoke at the birthday reception at the prestigious Lemaco Halls along Ada George Road in Port Harcourt after the Thanksgiving service took time to extol the sterling qualities of the celebrant while wishing him many more years ahead.
The Chairman of the occasion, His Excellency, Governor Bassey Edet Otu of Cross River State described Chief Victor Giadom as a Unifier and a friend to all.
He assured Nigerians that His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is feeling the pulse of Nigerians given the current global economic downturn which is also impacting the Nigerian economy.
He added that Mr President and his team are doing everything humanly possible, and deeply committed to turning around the economy to alleviate the hardship being experienced by the people, and appealed for patience.
He affirmed that the caliber of dignitaries who graced the birthday celebration of Chief Victor Tombari Giadom is a testimony to the fact that the celebrant is not just a good man, but a man of the people.
The wife of the celebrant, Lady Esther Tombari Giadom described him as the love of her life.
She said that the same way he loved her from the beginning of their relationship before they got married is the same way she feels to date.
She added that as her husband, and as the father of their children, Chief Victor Tombari Giadom is very supportive, loving, caring, and very compassionate.
In his goodwill message to the celebrant, the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Heineken Lokpobiri thanked God Almighty for keeping Chief Victor Tombari Giadom alive in sound health to the age of 60 years.
On his part, Prof. Ben Nanen, a former Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Movement For The Survival of Ogoni People (MOSOP) submitted that Chief Victor Tombari Giadom is a proud son of Ogoniland. He described him as a philanthropist, a Community Development Champion, and a man with the fear of God.
To crown it all, the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), His Excellency, Chief (Barr) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike - CON, GSSRS described Chief Victor Tombari Giadom as a long-time friend, a trustworthy ally, and a very grateful man.
He said that Chief Victor Tombari Giadom is a responsible and very hard-working leader; one who keeps to his words, and someone who recognizes and appreciates true friendship.
The FCT Minister further commended Chief Victor Tombari Giadom for his humility, consistency, and dependability, despite his numerous achievements in life.
