Truth About Mr. Ibu's ill Health, Family Speaks

Truth About Mr. Ibu
John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu
A family source has disclosed that Nigerian popular comedian artist, John Okafor, who is popularly known on the screens as Mr. Ibu has not gone through another amputation on his second leg.

Recall that it was widely reported in some Nigerian media outlets yesterday that the super artist, Mr. Ibu, has been amputated for the second time in a row after a recent amputation of one of his legs following a chronic disease he suffers.

Although some media outlets reported Mr. Ibu's second led had been amputated, many others reported the leg that was earlier amputated was the one that was [still] cut off further, the family source has debunked the former story, upholding the latter with the claim that it was done because “the first amputation didn’t completely correct his health predicament," hence the cause for the second operation on the same leg.

The family declared Mr. Ibu has not been flown abroad and he is not in consideration of such because his doctor has declared his condition "Not for to fly".

Also, a family source debunked the rumor of whether the amputation was a cause of diabetes, as they state he is not diabetic but “had constant clotting of the blood in his leg [diseased blood vessels] and other health challenges posing risk to his life, therefore the need for the amputation.”

The family insisted Mr. Ibu is responding to treatment as against what was published about his health condition by some media platforms yesterday. However, the family called on Mr. Ibu's “friends, colleagues, fans and Nigerians at large to keep him in their prayers and peddle down on unconfirmed reports concerning our dad’s health.”
