Tinubu Makes Changes to 2nd Batch of Ministerial Nominees List

Names of all 48 new ministers in Nigeria Tinubu change new ministerial nominees

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made changes to the names of nineteen ministerial nominees submitted to the National Assembly, few days ago.

President Bola Tinubu had on Wednesday transmitted names of an additional 19 names to the National Assembly for considerations as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Recall that Mr. President had previously sent names of about 28 Ministerial Nominees to the house for confirmation.

In the recent amendment made to the Ministerial list, a nominee from Kano State, Maryam Shatty has been removed from the list with the inclusion of Mai Riga Muhammad from the same Kano State.

Also, name of a former Minister under the administration of Ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, Festus Keyamo has been added to the second batch of the ministerial nominees list making the number of people on the list to be 20, from the 19 nominees that were previously sent to the National Assembly.

With this amendment, there are now 48 ministerial nominees to be screened by the National Assembly, meaning there will be 48 Ministries under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
