NNPC Limited Management of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPC Limited) has reacted to the speculated news of an expected rise in the pump price of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) across the country.
It has been widely speculated on social media platforms that petroleum dealers across the country are warming up to increase the pump price of fuel. This has generated stiff reactions from the public who are worried about the speculated increment because they were not expecting anything of that since the Federal Government of Nigeria has removed the petroleum subsidy.
The statement released by the NNPC Retail Management reads:
"Dear esteemed customers, we at NNPC Retail value your patronage, and we do not have the intention to increase our PMS pump prices as widely speculated.
"Please buy the best-quality products at the most affordable prices at our NNPC Retail Stations nationwide.
