Supporters of the Super Eagles of Nigeria has taken the football victory over the Bafana-Bafana of South Africa in the Semi-final of Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) taking place in Cote D'Ivoire, to settle scores with jealousy countries including neighboring Ghana, and Cameroon.

Nigerian Super Eagles defeated their South Africa counterpart 4-2 on penalties in the semi-final match. The victory recorded by the Super Eagles has emboldened Nigerians to renew their online hostilities with some jealous countries, mostly Ghana and Cameroon.

Probably, the fact that Nigeria falls within the same region, West Africa, with Ghana and Cameroon has made the country suffer some unnecessary rivalries with these countries.

Ghana, often, argued with Nigeria on having the potential to cook a more delicious jollof rice than Nigeria while Cameroon boasts of being the major supplier of pepper to Nigeria with threats.

These countries, mostly Ghana which did not make it out of the group stage, and Cameroon which was eliminated in the quarter-final by Nigeria, have been against Nigeria's Super Eagles in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.

Responding to the jealousy from the neighboring countries, Nigerians online jointly mocked the countries with what they claim they possess in excess than Nigeria.

Following the defeat of South Africa by Super Eagles, yesterday, Nigerians took to social media to jointly mock Ghana, Cameroon, South Africa, and Angola which was defeated by Nigeria in the Round of 16.

A Nigerian said, "Ghana 🇬🇭 Jollof made with Cameroon 🇨🇲 pepper & Angola 🇦🇴 Antelope meat while listening to Amapiano.
