Governor Abdul Rahman Abdulrazak of Kwara State has appointed a young lady who just passed out of the mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC), Miss Musa Nafisat Buge, as a commissioner designate. Miss Nafisat hails from Ilorin, Ilorin West Local Government Area of the state.
The appointment of Miss Nafisat, which has been sent to the Lawara State House of Assembly for confirmation, was made known to the public in an appreciation letter sent by the Kwara State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Olaoluwa Onifade to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak, today, Monday, December 19th, 2023.
Mr. Onifade thanked Governor Abdulrazak for finding Miss Nafisat worthy of being part of the executive council of Kwara State.
Mr. Onifade said, "I wish to express my profound gratitude to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for nominating one of NYSC ambassadors who just completed the mandatory one-year service to the nation at Ilorin West Local Government, Miss Musa Nafisat Buge as Commissioner-designate.
Mr. Onifade stated that Governor Abdulrazak's choice of a youthful Miss Nafisat as a commissioner in Kwara State has demonstrated "the governor's passion to make youth a force to reckon with.
Speaking further, he said "Governor Abdulrazak's continued support for the Scheme and entire youths is a clear example of youth-friendly leadership that is worthy of emulation.
