Many residents of Kogi State and some patriotic Nigerians have submitted varying degrees of criticizing targeting a list of achievements rolled out yesterday by the incumbent Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo.
In his list of achievements unveiled yesterday in celebration of his 100 days in Office, Kogi State Governor Ododo included his visit to the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and another meeting with the Minister of Agriculture, Senator Abubakar Kyari.
Among other funny achievements claimed by Governor Ododo is his attendance at the Progressive Governors Forums, Clearing 8,000 hectares of land for farming, appointment of his first set of aides on his first day in office, screening/ swearing in of his new commissioners and senior aides.
Governor Ododo also listed among his list of achievements, his homecoming and grand reception at his Okene hometown and his host of the first courtesy visit by the Ife-Olukotun Community in Yerba East Local Government Area of the state.
All these, among others, are some of the achievements that make up Governor Ododo's 100 days in office. The content of the list has been adjudged watery and disgracing to the youth of this nation.
Noticeably, this is coming from a 42-year-old Governor who is believed to be a symbol of the campaign for Not Too Young Too Rule.
Sincerely, the achievements listed by the Governor are shocking and unbelievable.
How can this set of achievements be matched up with the monthly allocation received by the State over the past three months of his administration?
Aren't the actions of most of these youth governors denying the chances of the youth in the future of Nigerian politics? remember a youthful Minister is suspended over an allegation of a historic financial scandal.
