President William Ruto of Kenya has confirmed a decision by King Charges III and Queen Camilla to pay an official visit to the country in his tour to the commonwealth nations.

Ahead of King Charles’ visit to Kenya, President William Ruto on Monday met with the British High Commissioner to Kenya, Neil Wigan where he expressed happiness at the King and Queen’s choice of picking Kenya in his visit to the commonwealth nations. President Ruto was accompanied to the British Embassy alongside the Prime Cabinet Secretary and CS for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi.

The administration of President Ruto confirms that King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be given a ceremonial welcome at the State House in Nairobi. The two visiting Royal Family of the United Kingdom will visit both Nairobi County, Mombasa County, and surrounding areas.

The two leaders will also attend separate bilateral meetings after which President Ruto will host them to a State Banquet at the State House in Nairobi. At the bilateral meeting, King Charles III will be with President Ruto while First Lady, Rachel Ruto will host Queen Camilla.
