Lifeless Body of the man culled from NTA
The dead body of a grown man whose identity is yet to be ascertained has been recovered from the lagoon linking Lekki and Ikoyi, Lagos State.

According to the Head of Public Education of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services, Amodu Shakiru, the body of the man who jumped into the Lagos Lagoon soon was recovered lifeless.

Amodu's short notice of this development read “Body from Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge recovered dead. Details soon, please."

Recall that, on Tuesday, it was widely reported on Nigerian social media spaces that a man with no traceable identity deliberately jumped off the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge into the Lagoon that separates the two expensive areas of Lagos.

The deceased did not write any note that necessitated his action, and no family has been heard complaining about their missing person in the state.
