Half Rubber of grain shared as Ramadan Package by a Lawmaker
An emerging story had it that residents of a legislative constituency have rejected the Ramadan package presented to them by the House of Assembly member representing their constituency.

The lawmaker was said to have shared some wraps of grains measuring about half a rubber measurement with each of the selected constituents.

The constituents who felt unhappy berated and angrier at the lawmaker's Ramadan package for them, rejected the package and blankly told the lawmaker that the gift was "too small."

Although The Round Table is trying to get the full details of the developing story, it was revealed that the development is coming from a Northern state and the affected lawmaker is elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Many politicians and wealthy individuals have used the holy month of Ramadan to share their wealth with the poor, rolling out bags of grains and money to make the Ramadan fasting easier for Muslims.

Besides, government officials are being looked up to, in sharing palliative materials to the general public as prices of food items and other essential commodities in the market are on the increase following the removal of oil subsidy and floatation of naira against dollar at the Forex market.
