Allegedly killed Dogo Gide Confusion has greeted a piece of news claiming a notorious terrorist and bandit, Dogo Gide, terrorizing Bukuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State has been killed.
Happiness filled the nook and cranny of Zamfara State yesterday following the breaking of news that a notorious bandit leader, Dogo Gide, who has been terrorizing Bukuyum Local Government Area of the state has been gunned down by the Joint Security Task Force combing the state to return sanity.
However, late yesterday, there was another development that Dogo Gide is still alive with some people sharing his picture where he was holding a sophisticated weapon to mock the Nigeria Military and those celebrating his death.
A new emerging claim stated that the man shown in the picture, yesterday, while announcing the killing of Dogo Gide was a civil man from Tudun Nufawa in Kaduna State.
The man in the picture (left) was identified to be Dan Asabe, a peaceful, nice, and generous Kaduna man who allegedly died in a car accident in 2023.
The new development has left many people confused as fear grows among the people of Bukuyum Local Government Area regarding the untold rate of renewed insurrection that Dogo Gide may bring to them if he is still alive.
However, the Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Chief of Defense Staff General Christopher Gwabin to come to the aid of the state by deploying more military personnel to the state or Zamfara may soon be overthrow by the terrorist.
