Daniel Bwala and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu The presidential mouthpiece of the presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, during the 2023 general elections, Daniel Bwala, has visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Aso Rock.
Bwala, who failed to reveal the main point of their discussion, hailed President Bola Tinubu for taking some strategic decisions toward repositioning the fortune of Nigeria.
Bwala, who was a major critic of Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the 2023 electioneering campaign expressed satisfaction at the performance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, so far.
He said on his X timeline, "Today I was delighted to meet @officialABAT, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, (GCFR) in the Villa to show appreciation and support for the bold decisions he is taking to deal with the crisis confronting our dear country.
Bwala dumped All Progressives Congress (APC) for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) during the buildup to the 2023 general election claiming that Bola Ahmed Tinubu's choice of Kashim Shettima as his running mate [then] is unjust to religious politicking.
He protested the possible marginalization of Christians in Nigeria if Tinubu-Shettima's Muslim-Muslim ticket should be successful.
However, impressed by the performance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, so far, with no religious bias, Bwala was quoted to have said he may defect to the APC if that is required to give his support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Despite his closeness to Atiku Abubakar, Bwala was quoted to have said, "APC is a party. President Bola Tinubu is my motivation; if supporting him will take me to APC, so be it.”
