Daniel Bassey An undergraduate student of the University of Uyo, Daniel Bassey has been shot to death by armed robbers.
The incident occurred, yesterday, Monday, February 19, around Idaji Okporoad in Uyo.
Armed Robbers were said to have visited the hostel of the deceased and raked all the students in the compound. The armed robbers allegedly collected all the phones and laptops of the students in the hostel.
However, on getting to Daniel's room, he resisted the armed robbers from stealing his phone. After the phone was forcefully collected from him, Daniel began to drag the phone with the armed robbers, who later became angry and sh00t him in the abdomen and ran away with his phone.
Daniel was immediately rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
