Forbes Daily Billionaire list showed that Nigerian Aliko Dangote has been dethroned by Johann Rupert & Family of South Africa as of January 1, 2024.
Aliko Dangote, who is on the last lap of completely delivering his multibillion-dollar Oil Refinery in Nigeria is now the second richest in Africa.
Aliko Dangote's wealth profile might have been affected by the economic reforms currently taking place in the country, and the unification of the country's exchange rate could be a great factor contributing to the fall in his wealth record.
