Finidi George
Since 1967, Nigeria has not lost any match to Benin Republic until yesterday when Nigerian head coach, Finidi George, led the Super Eagles of Nigeria to a 2-1 loss match against Benin Republic national football team.
This is the second march of Finidi George in charge of the Nigerian national football team and has failed to win any of the matches, recalling that his side struggled to have a 1-1 draw with Bafana Bafana of South Africa less than a week ago.
This wobbling performance had turned many Nigerians against the leadership of Finidi George in the Super Eagles' camp.
Nigerian Super Eagles have earned 3 points in four matches it has played so far in the World Cup qualification matches.
Reacting to the mass condemnation of his leadership in the Super Eagles, Finidi George said:
“There’s no special formula to win; we have to see how the players will start a new season now and see how we can get the beat out of the players.
“Everybody must be committed and I believe with commitment we will win games. I believe we are going to win games and if we can win games, the battle will still be there.
