A popular Abuja-based Nigerian musician, Omoba De Jombo Beats, and his band members have been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen

The kidnappers who were said to be fully armed, stormed the venue where the musician was having a play and took the musician and his band members for ransom.

The incident was revealed by another Abuja-based musician, Adeyinka Ademoye, who disclosed this incident in an Instagram post. He claimed that the incident occurred on Sunday.

Adeyinka who blamed the incident on the undesirable insecurity problem the country is facing, wrote on Instagram “A whole band of members kidnapped. Nigeria is messed up. I swear my prayers are with you guys. You will all come out alive.”

The musician layer revealed that the kidnappers have made contact with the families of their victims, demanding N10 million ransom before the musician and his band members can be set free.
