The Executive Governor of Osun State, Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke Jackson, has approved the recruitment of a new set of food vendors, who prepare food for students at the basic schools in the state. The form for the recruitment exercise is set to be sold at N1500 for each applicant, according to the state government.
Over time, the O'Neal School Feeding, in Soun State, has been one of the social welfare programmes for basic school students to improve their nutritious packages to nourish and flourish their mental growth.
Following the inauguration of Governor Ademola Adeleke on November 27th, 2022 he has amended many standing policies and programs of the previous administrations. In continuation of this, the governor has disbanded the O'meal vendors in the state who were recruited by the past administration and order every interested vendor to apply through the agency in charge of the school feeding program.
The recruitment process starts with the purchase of a N1500 form from the State Secretariat, Abere, Osogbo, Osun State.
