Anas Musa Nigerians have been roaring at the fate of common citizens in the country following the publication of a story by Arewa Punch where the newspaper featured a Nigerian young graduate of Chemistry, Anas Musa, 29, who has been able to build a space rocket without government aid but unfortunately, he had been allegedly denied admissions into the prestigious Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) or other national security agencies seven times in the past.
Musa who vowed never to give up in his pursuit to be recruited into a federal security agency narrated his ordeal claiming he is a Chemistry graduate from Gombe State.
He said, "I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, from Federal University, Kashere, Gombe State. I desire to expand my research, development, and innovation beyond the scope of only rocketry but in any aspect projection especially in the area of defense either serving as an Ordnance/Armament Officer in the Nigerian Armed Forces or as a Scientist.”
“I applied for NDA 64RC 2012, 65RC 2013, 66RC 2014 and 67RC 2015, then DSSC 26 (Army) 2022, DSSC Air Force 2023 and DSSC 28 Army 2024.”
“I started building the rockets in early 2022 to serve as an Ordnance officer in the Armed Forces.
Musa who is currently into Fashion designing with the aim of not giving up said he is inspired to join the Federal Security agency "Because one of my intentions is to build rockets that can reach an altitude of more than 100km within a couple of years as a thorough local military personnel, the rocket’s military capabilities contribute to enhancing national security by providing a platform for deploying reconnaissance satellites, communication networks, and other strategic assets.
Reacting to Musa's ordeal, Nigerians raised eyebrows at the concerned authorities claiming that the young guy is being denied admission into the NDA and other security agencies because he is a son of "nobody".
A resident often claimed that Musa may continue to be denied until he gets a godfather who can back him to the Federal Security agencies.
