President Bola Tinubu, Mele Kyari and Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi Following his return from the London where he visited briefly after leaving France, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received dignitaries including top political office holders, at his Lagos residence in commemoration of the 2023 Eid-l-Kabir celebration.
Among the high ranking personalities who have paid homage to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Lagos house are the Managing Director Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited NNPC Limited, Melee Kyari and Acting Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi.
The duo visited the president at his Bourdillon country home, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
Coming out of the homage paid to President Bola Tinubu, Mele Kyari described the Sallah celebration, the purpose for which they visited President, as a day of making sacrifice to please the creator of mankind. He attributed the grace of the Sallah celebration to an opportunity enjoyed by them to pay homage to President Tinubu.
He said "Privileged to pay Sallah homage to Mr President alongside Ag Gov CBN. A day of reaffirmation by the faithfuls to sacrifice or give off the most coveted of possessions to please Allah and by implication for the common good and to ultimately be grateful for all the favours of Allah and secure the infinite mercy of Allah.
