Pastor Paul Mackenzie who is the finder of the Good News International Church has been arrested for allegedly killing scores of his church members.
Pastor Paul Mackenzie was arrested after allegedly killing a Qatari returnee to Kenya, Betty with the promise to link her with Jesus.
According to our source, Pastor Paul Mackenzie would ask members of his church to 'fast to death' so that they can meet Jesus. However, before their death they were encouraged to sell off their property and give the proceeding to the pastor.
Our source stated that Betty was at work in Qatar when she received call from Kenya that her son, Jason who was living with his grandparents was dead. She traveled to Kenya for her son's burial when she met a friend who convinced her that they will be traveling to meet Jesus n April 8th.
On April 7th, Betty purchased a one-way ticket to Malindi, alongside her children after selling off her property in preparation for the journey.
Failure to know the whereabouts of Betty led her daily not search operation for her, and unfortunately one of her sisters came across a note written by her for her husband which indicated 'she was traveling for a journey she would never return.'
Her flight was traced but she was already dead and her remain has been buried by the church in the Shakahola Forest within Langobaya in Malindi sub-county, Kenya.
Pastor Paul Mackenzie was arrested and charged to court four times between 1999 and 2003 for harsh sermons but was later acquainted for lack of evidence. Also, in 2017, about 100 children were rescued from him.
When Kenyan Police strike his abode, about 67 lifeless bodies were exhumed from Shakahola forest while other followers of the Pastor Mackenzie church were found starving and on the brink of death.
