All 58 Passengers and four crew members on board a crashed Sao Paulo aircraft have reportedly died, Brazilian local media reported on Friday evening.
According to the report, the twin-engine turboprop plane belonging to the Voepass airline was flying from Cascavel in the southern state of Paraná to the main airport in São Paulo city when it came down in the town of Vinhedo.
The plane, flight 2283, fell in the city of Vinhedo," Voepass Linhas Aéreas stated.
Veopass Airline, however, said it could not confirm the status of those on board, or give details about how the accident occurred.
Footage circulating on social media showed a plane descending vertically, spiraling as it fell.
An area of fire and smoke was captured in footage by Brazil's TV GloboNews. Other footage from the outlet showed a plane spiraling while falling.
