Rude Boy

A popular Nigerian songwriter and singer, Paul Okoye of the P Square who is also known as Rude Boy has lamented that poverty in Nigeria prevents the fans of musicians from collapsing to show their affection during music shows.

Rude Boy who is letting his voice to social media on various issues, recently, talked about how Nigerian fans of musicians show less affection to their preferred singer.

Comparing how Nigerians expressed their love for musicians to the kind of love the musicians receive from their fans in some Eastern African countries, Rude Boy insisted poverty hurt Nigerians.

Rude Boy said their fans in some Eastern African countries cry, and faint to express love during shows in their countries.

“You can never perform in Nigeria and people faint or start crying, our problems are too much. Some even use their phones," Rude Boy stated.

“You see East African countries? When they love you, they stick with you. We could perform in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and you see people collapsing and being carried out of the stadium but that has never happened to Nigeria 😂. Life is hard in Nigeria. Everybody just Dey vexes,“ said Rude Boy.
