Dungurawa Junior Secondary School Parents Teachers Association (PTA) will continue to join hands together to restore education at the school through the People's Participation Programme.
This was disclosed at the end of the meeting held recently at the school where a parent-teacher association was formed and inaugurated to tackle problems affecting the school.
Malam Abdulhamid Garba Kunnawa Majema who emerged as the chairman told the Round Table that the decision to gather and contribute through PTA had come when the school was collapsing due to the lack of full attendance of the enrolled students which was a great threat to the community.
He lamented that he is ready to lead the association to restore the school's population and he called on the parents and guardians to support their move to achieve what they had planned.
Abdulhamid Kunnawa added, "We know how the school principal and his teachers are working selflessly to ensure that the school becomes more exemplary, and with our helping hands, this would be achieved because all the PTA exco are ready to work as a team to salvage the school from total collapse". He emphasized.
Our correspondent gathered that the school accommodates students from Dungurawa, Kunnawa, Waddau, Rawaki, and Gudau-Jola Towns while the PTA leaders have already swung into action to actualize their plans, for the progress of the school.
