Binance Nigeria Limited is a Scammer Entity, FG Warns

Federal Government of Nigeria has warned its citizens against patronizing a cryptocurrency firm, Binance Nigeria Limited which has been adjudged to be a scamming framework.

Recall that the Federal Government of Nigeria had earlier this month, ordered Binance to halt its operations in the country, saying the local unit "Binance Nigeria Limited" that courted Nigerian investors through a website was not registered or regulated, making it illegal. Responding to the call, Binance (International) has issued a cease and dissociated itself from "Binance Nigeria Limited".

According to the Binance (International) CEO, Changpeng Zha, Binance Nigeria Limited was identified as a "scammer entity", Reuters reported. The CEO said that Binance Nigeria Limited has no affiliation with Binance (International).

Binanc e, the world's biggest cryptocurrency exchange, is currently facing serious setbacks which o forcing the world cryptocurrency leader to announce plans to leave the Netherlands, Cyprus, Canada, and Australia, and being c harged by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
