All Eyes On the Judiciary Billboard Nigerian former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili, has urged campaigners under the umbrella of Obidients who are seeking for the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to rule in favor of their candidate, Mr. Peter Obi to use digital Billboard which he considers cheaper than the poster billboard.
Recall that recently, a Billboard carrying a poster that reads "All Eyes On the Tribunal Judges" install on a street of Abuja was brought down by the regulatory agencies because the poster was considered derogatory to the judiciary. The Federal Capital Territory Development Agency and Advertisements Regulatory Council have flagged the Billboard and promised to sanction the owner of the Billboard for violating the guidelines that control Signage.
In her support for the message that was declared derogatory by the government agency, Ezekwesili had urged the promoters of the derogatory poster to use digital billboards instead.
"A Digital Billboard is so much cheaper than one that an obviously misguided regulator demolished. So here’s my message to our Nigerian Judiciary that constitutionally owes Citizens absolute judicial independence, transparency, and integrity," Ezekwesili said after signing the tweet with some "All Eyes on the Judiciary" hashtags.
Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has reserved judgment for the petitioners as all parties in the case have closed their cases, accordingly.
