Prof. Charles Soludo Governor Chukwuma Soludo says when the Ekwulobia modern flyover and bus terminal is completed, it will position the city as the fourth industrial cluster in the state and make it a destination for investors willing to explore Anambra's expanding market space.
The Governor stated this while inspecting the ongoing project.
He thanked the people of the community and surroundings for their co-operation, saying that Ekwulobia as the fourth largest urban center will be transformed with the project and the modern market that will also follow suit.
The Governor pleaded with the contractor to deliver the project even before the execution time, assuring of his governments unflinching support.
He used the occasion to advise ndi Anambra to always avoid encroaching on government lands while building.
The people of the community who trooped out in excitement to welcome the Governor used to opportunity to sing happy birthday song to him in commemoration of his 63rd birthday anniversary.
Dignitaries that joined him during the inspection include his wife, Nonye, House Member representing Aguata II Constituency, Honourable Tony Muobuike, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr Ernest Ezeajughi, the Chairman, Anambra State Sports Development Commission, Mr Patrick Onyedum.
