Ex-Senate President Bukola Saraki who was rarely heard in public in the recent time, described Ibrahim Babangida as a courageous man who confronts challenges head-on. He applauded the role played by General Ibrahim Babangida both as a military head of state and his conduct after he stepped aside as the country's Head of State.
Bukola Saraki's remark on General Ibrahim Babangida reads "Throughout his leadership journey, General Ibrahim Babangida has consistently displayed the courage to confront challenges head-on.
"Whether in his role as a military officer or as our former Head of State, General Babangida dedicated himself to the service of Nigeria and the preservation of our unity, he stated further.
General Ibrahim Babangida was a former military Head of State and ruled the country between 1985 and 1993, when he resigned after he had annulled the June 12th election that brought in late Mashood Kashimawo Olawale as the duly elected President of the country in the 1993 election.
