Charles Titiloye Staff of the Ondo State Government working at the state secretariat, Ministry of Justice Complex, yesterday, trouped out en masse to display their dissatisfaction at the conduct of the sacked Ondo State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General, Charles Titiloye.
Charles Titiloye was among the serving Commissioners in Ondo State who were sacked by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa following the Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 dissolution of the state Executive Cabinet Council.
After the dissolution of the State Executive Council, the members of Ondo State Civil Service who were aware of the dissolution mobilized other members and pulled a crowd at the front of the complex accommodating the sacked Commissioner for Justice, Charles Titiloye.
The civil servants gathered at the front of the complex awaiting Titiloye to step out of his office so he could be mocked.
On sighting him, the civil servants approached his vehicle and began to throw incentives at him in what many media platforms reported as a dramatic moment in the history of Nigerian politics.
When he managed to beat the crowd and get into his vehicle, the aggrieved Civil Servants blocked his car and deflated the tires so he could receive the mockery with no escaping route. It took the intervention of the Nigeria Police Force to get him out of the crowd, and he was whisked away in another vehicle by the police.
Talking to the journalists, a Civil Servant simply Evelyn said, “Titiloye frustrated everyone working in the ministry. We really don’t know why the late Akeredolu picked him up and left him in the office all this time. There was a time that we, judicial workers wanted to go on strike because of his attitude towards us, but we were pacified, and we shelved it. Honestly, he has not been a good person.”
