Dwellers of the Kam Kire community and its environment have cared for the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, over their welfare as they make use of a makeshift robe bridge to cross a river linking the community to other parts of the state.
Residents raised their voices following the proximity of heavy downpours in the area which may increase the water level and pose a threat to the residents crossing the bridge using the makeshift robe bridge.
To avert the dangers that the makeshift robe bridge poses, residents beg the Nasarawa state government to come to their aid.
The residents called on the State Government to construct a bridge on a river in the community.
The residents predominantly small-scale farmers appeal to the State Government to come to their aid to construct the bridge to save lives.
