Simon Ekpa Biafra Spokesperson, Finnish politician and apologist of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Simon Ekpa has declared intention of the Igbo people to destroy the economy of Lagos State.
Simon Ekpa in a series of threatening statement, bragged that the Igbo people solely built the robust economy in Lagos and that they deserved to be "worship" by the Yorubas.
Referring to a video clip, Simon Ekpa claimed that "This is how Igbos build Lagos and still building all because, Lagos has seaports, embassies, foreign companies headquarters making Lagos economic hub with special status.
After developing swamps in Lagos, the state government instead of appreciating and “worshipping” Igbos for developing lagos will rather hire thugs and sponsor arsonists to burn their market in other to crash the economy of Ndigbo which they are using to develop Lagos. We will cripple Lagos State economy too and you will watch how it will happen.
Simon Ekpa claimed that he was being challenged why he was so keen at defending Igbo people in Lagos. Responding to that, he said:
"Those asking me why do I defend Ndigbo in Lagos?
"My response is that I was born to do this and to liberate Biafra from the mistake of Azikiwe and co. My love for the NdiIgbo and Biafra people is without condition.
"I will defend all Igbos in Lagos and any part of Nigeria, even those who placed bounty on me, this is because they don’t know what they were doing.
Finally, I must say that we now have capacity to defend Ndigbo and their market to preserve and save the means of their livelihood before Biafra Exit.
"We understand that the plan of the enemy is to destroy the economy of Ndigbo and further enslave them in one Nigeria. It is called economic Jihad against Igbos, they believe that Igbo business will later fund Biafra Liberation. This is inevitable!
Threatening to destroy Lagos Economy, Simon Ekpa said:
"They will all watch how we will cripple Lagos state economy, forget their ranting. They know the impact of what is coming, they never expected it but we will continue to take them unaware. You can’t continue to kill our people and burn their businesses in Lagos and expect us not to react. Is like flogging a child and telling him not to cry. I am not moved by their utterances on social media. They should know by now that whenever we decide to do something, there is no going back.
