Throughout the federation, elections in Anambra State would be as unique as the elections that will hold in some of the states under the control of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which are at loggers head with the party's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

The difference in the projected voting pattern in Anambra State and those of the warring PDP states is who would be the beneficiary of the votes. In Anambra State, the state government under Charles Soludo may want to give support to the candidate of the PDP, but the residents may want to cast their votes for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi who is an indigene of the state.

The presidential election in Anambra State will be a clear political battle between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party.

All Progressives Congress (APC) will come distance third in Anambra State, with the Labour Party having more tendency to win the presidential election in the state while the PDP ride on the back of the support of Governor Charles Soludo to gather some votes from Anambra state.

Being the son of the state, Peter Obi's Labour Party will enjoy maximum support from Anambra State and it may be one of the few states where the Labour Party would enjoy such maximum support.

However, the election may not hold in all the polling units in the state and there may be low turnout where the elections are to be held. This is because of the incessant Sit-at-home threats being rolled out by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB). This may obstruct the smooth conduct of the poll as there won't be an opportunity to concentrate a larger number of security operatives in the state as it experienced during the last governorship election in Anambra.
