He had been expected to make the latest squad after playing a full 90 minutes against Atlanta United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday.
The coach later disclosed that Inter Miami doctors were in constant communication with the Argentina national team medical staff to stay told on Messi’s status and be able to plan accordingly.
