Nigerian music icon, Stanley Omah Didia, who is popularly known as Omah Lay has promised that Nigerians will shake the world in celebration if the country's National Senior football team, Super Eagles, wins the Cote D'Ivoire 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Nigeria will play against Cote D'Ivoire, the host nation, tomorrow, Sunday, February 11th, 2024 in the final match of the competition.

Omah Lay stated this while chatting with West Ham defender, Kurt Zouma, a clip of which was posted on the club’s social media page on Saturday.

Omah Lay said, “It [Nigeria’s Super Eagles perform at the AFCON] is amazing. You can see how crazy the people are going and you can see how everybody is jumping around. It’s amazing to see.

“I’m hopeful that this is going to be the year for us. The world is going to shake! The world will shake. Live on the road doesn’t give me time to be in the football vibes as much. But I know for sure that if we win this [AFCON] it’s going to be very huge.”

Nigeria's Super Eagles defeated South African Bafana-Bafana 4-2 on penalty shootouts to secure a spot in the final stage of the Cote d'Ivoire 2023 AFCON.
