Prison Expert Gives Reason Trump Could Be 'Killed' in Jail

Donald Trump jail news today
Former U.S. President Donald Trump
The proximity of the former United States American President Donald Trump to live if sentenced to jail by the court where he is currently standing trial has been forecast as “uncertain” as the chances of him getting killed by a fellow prisoner are possible.

Donald Trump who is also in the race for the 2024 presidential election of the country is currently standing trial following four separate criminal charges against him. Donald Trump faces two criminal cases from the federal authorities and two at the state level, and the cases may threaten his chances of picking the presidential nomination of the Republican party ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election in the US.

Former President Donald Trump is standing trial for allegedly orchestrating the payment of hush money to a pornographic actress; illegal possession of public documents after leaving office in 2021; and breaking the States law while attempting to upturn the results of the 2020 Presidential Election in the country both nationwide and the state of Georgia, specifically.

Although Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to all the charges with claims that the cases against him are “mere” political propaganda, if he is adjudged wrong of any of the charges and fails to earn a “presidential pardon” from President Joe Biden, which is politically not likely to be offered because of the threat Donald Trump’s second term ambition poses to Joe Biden’s second run in the 2024 presidential, Donald Trump may become the first former President of America to be jailed. Hence, Robert Rogers, an associate professor of criminal justice at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro who also works for the Federal Bureau of Prisons informed Newsweek in an interview that former President Trump may lose his life to fellow prisoners if he is jailed.

Giving reason for his assumption, Rogers stated that if former President Trump is sentenced, he would be deployed to a maximum-security penitentiary” so to prevent any of the fanatical followers of his political doctrine to attempt a prison break to set him free, this decision will, therefore, pair former President Trump with hardened criminals who may decide to “kill Donald Trump” just to make name for themselves.

Although as a former President of the United States, Donald Trump has lifetime access to security facilities by the Secret Service this has not been tested in the history of the United States whether he will lose the right if sentenced or he will still enjoy the Secret Service protection as stated in the States law.
