Ademola Adeleke Osun State Government has unveiled the digital platform where it recruits teachers into the vacant spaces announced recently by the state.
Recall that The Round Table reported recently that the Osun State Government under Governor Ademola Adeleke has decided to fill the vacancy created in the state's public schools after the administration sacked the second batch of teachers recruited by his predecessor and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola.
Oyetola had decided to recruit 5,000 teachers in batches to cover the deficit left in the teaching service by teachers who have attained the retirement stages.
Governor Adeleke through a statement released by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed on Wednesday, February 7th, said the administration is ready to recruit 5,000 teachers and 250 Education Officers to be fixed into schools across the thirty local government areas and one area office in the state.
The government had said the recruitment would take place online.
Today, the government authority has unveiled the portal where prospective applicants can log on to submit their applications.

As of the time of filing this report, attempts to log on to the portal were rebuffed as it seems hosting resources allocated to the portal might not be sufficient to withstand the impending traffic.
Also, attempts to ping the portal using Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp engines failed to return the thumbnail.
Interested applicants can repeatedly visit the portal, recommendably, in the wee hours when traffic might have been lessened.
