Photo Credit: NDLEA The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has disclosed it intercepted four agent of a particular political party with hundreds of credit cards meant to perpetrate vote buying.
The four party agents were intercepted during an election duty stop and search operation in Ibara Housing Estate, Ogun State.
It was gathered that each of the money credit cards contains N10,000 and each card can be activated to cash with a code.
The NDLEAvofdicials said "Operatives of NDLEA on election duty stop and search, just intercepted four party agents with hundreds of money credit cards, to buy votes at Ibara housing estate, Ogun state. Each card contains 10,000 naira and activated to cash with a code.
Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Brig. General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), OFR, later directed the NDLEA officers to hand over the arrested party agents and the money credit cards that were seized to the police, after proper documentation.
