27 lawmakers dump PDP for APC The new development in Rivers State is shocking and a “Double Yellow” card flashed at Governor Siminalayi Fubara of the state who picked political rivalry with his political godfather, Nyesom Wike, weeks after he was inaugurated.
The 27 members of the Rivers State House of Assembly who dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for All Progressives Congress (APC) are the loyalists of the former Governor of the State and the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, who is the political godfather to the incumbent Governor Fubara who has picked rivalry with him.
Although the Round Table has digested the political development in Rivers State and the expectations ahead of the state’s politics, the names and state constituencies of the 27 Lawmakers in Rivers State House of Assembly who defected from PDP to APC have been compiled by the Round Table as follow.
