A news flash emerging from the National headquarters of the National Drug Laws Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has generated mixed reactions from citizens of the country, the majority of which are youths and music lovers.

In a press release by the NDLEA, it was stated that a British-Nigerian singer and songwriter, Azeez Adeshina Fashola who is popularly known as Naira Marley paid a visit to the National Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd) today, in Abuja.

The music star, Naira Marley also declared support for the fight against hard drugs which is the core objective of the National Drug Laws Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

However, the public was amazed as the music icon was popularly known for promoting illicit acts, including drug abuse, even in his music videos and social media pages which are followed by a huge population of youths.

The public was of mixed imagination, whether the visit and the known public profile of Naira Marley portray the anti-drug abuse agency, NDLEA, in a good picture or belittle the rating of the agency amongst the populace.
