Zayyanu Muhammad Bello Hon. Zayyanu Muhammad Bello is dead. Until his demise, Hon. Zayyanu was the Executive Chairman of Maiyama Local Government Area, Kebbi State.
A statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi State Governor, Ahmed Idris, revealed that Hon. Zayyanu has been battling with an undisclosed disease for a long period.
Zayyanu died, early this morning, Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH) in Sokoto.
The governor's mouthpiece, Ahmed Idris, announced the death of Hon. Zayyanu Muhammad Bello in a statement reading, “Regrettably, with a heavy heart, I announce the death of Hon. Zayyanu Muhammad Bello, Executive Chairman of Maiyama Local Government. He died early this morning at UDUTH Sokoto after a protracted illness.”
The statement further indicated that the government would communicate details of his burial arrangements to the public in due course.
