The 2025 edition of FIFA Club World Cup has kicked start in the United States of America featuring 32 clubs from 20 countries, the largest features so far.

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 starts with ceremonial opening on May 31st with the  actual tournament starting on June 14th and ends on July 13th,  making it a month-long event, taking place across various venues in the United States. The opening match at the tournament featured LAFC and Club America, vying for the final spot in the tournament's group stage.

FIFA Club World Cup 2025 has eight groups with four clubs in each group. Two clubs from each of the eight group will advance to the traditional knockout stage at the Round of 16.

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid from Spanish La Liga , Inter Milan from Italian Seria A, Paris Saint German (PSG) from French League One, Al Ahly from Saudi Arabia, Bayern Munich from German Bundesh Liga, Manchester City and Chelsea from England's Premier League; Lionel Messi's Inter Miami and Seattle Sounders from America's Major League Soccer are some of the major leagues that will be participating in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.

According to a report by the USA Today, 12 clubs from Europe, with others selected from Asia, Africa, CONCACAF regions, Oceania, and South America will take part in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.

Group Stage matches will be played between June 14th and June 26th. Round of 16 will be played between June 28th and July 1st, 2025.

Quarterfinals will be played between July 4th and July 5th while Semifinals will be played between July 8th and July 9th, 2025.

Final match of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will be played on July 13th at MetLife stadium, New Jersey 

On July 14th, the tournament will be declared opened with a very high profile match between Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Ahly and Lionel Messi's Inter Miami while Bayern Munich and Auckland City face each other on July 15th with PSG and Atletico Madrid clashing in California, the same day.
